The sugaring and sunless tanning destination will enter the Chicago market in January 2027, marking a meaningful homecoming for founder Courtney Claghorn
CHICAGO, IL — 09/28/26 — SUGARED + BRONZED, the nation’s leading destination for sugaring hair removal and custom airbrush tanning, is expanding to Chicago with its first location in the market, scheduled to open in January 2027. Located at 10 East Delaware Place in Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood, the opening is especially meaningful for founder Courtney Claghorn, who was raised in Chicago.
Founded by Claghorn in 2010, S+B has grown from its beginnings in a Santa Monica apartment into a nationwide beauty destination. The Chicago opening marks a full-circle moment for Claghorn as the brand continues its national expansion.

The Gold Coast location will offer S+B’s signature all-natural sugaring hair removal and custom airbrush tanning services. Sugaring uses a simple blend of sugar, lemon and water to remove hair, while each airbrush tan is customized to create a natural-looking, personalized glow.
Clients will also have access to monthly Signature Memberships for those who make sugaring or tanning part of their regular beauty routine.
The location will carry S+B’s full collection of skincare and sunless tanning products, also available online and on Amazon Prime.
